The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported flooding in 4 provinces: Chumphon, Ranong, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat, covering 27 districts, 137 sub-districts, 814 villages, affecting 43,595 households and resulting in 3 deaths.
Today (15 Dec 2024), Mr. Phasakorn Boonyalak, Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), revealed that from the situation of a new moderate to quite strong high pressure from China, causing heavy to very heavy rain in some areas of the lower southern region, causing flash floods and forest runoff between 22 Nov - 15 Dec 2024, there was a flood situation in 11 provinces: Chumphon, Ranong, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Trang, Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, a total of 98 districts, 625 sub-districts, 4,264 villages, affecting 675,160 households and 32 deaths. สล็อต
